What is meant by annulled or annulment in marriage?

annulled/annulments are words i have heard several times... has it got anything to do with sex? does it mean that a married couple haven't had sex yet? or does it mean something else.. please tell meWhat is meant by annulled or annulment in marriage?
All it means is the marriage never existed. Most marriages that are annulled are less than 6 months. It does not mean no sex, just a decision the marriage should have never happened.What is meant by annulled or annulment in marriage?
It means that a guardian over you can go to the courthouse and go before the judge and get the marriage dissolved , no matter if there was sex or not, most of the time , that is the only reason young folks marry in the first place is to legally have sex, It is not about love or commitment at all. If you are Still a minor and living at home they can do this , however, if you are 18 and older then you have to do this yourself or get a divorce and that costs money, annulments do not cost anything because no one gave you consent to marry and you were still a minor and under the guidance of your parents.
It amazes me the amount of dis-information that is posted here about annulments!
