States require ministers to be ordained. Some states also require that you be licensed by the state as well.
You could become a Justice of the Peace.
You should probably check with the Secretary of State for the actual requirements.What credentials or requirements are needed to perform marriage ceremonies in Minnesota?
You need to be an Ordain Minister...I think.
