Hey! I wish to answer this question I knew more about you to respond more accurately. I am not sure what area you hail from and what you are used to with the big city. The cultures and mix are very much different and I will answer generally what I prefer with some experience. I like Seattle and the lifestyle out in the Great North West. A little more casual with some weather disciplines one has to get used to in living. Very scenic and parks, and good schools around to allow a nice mix of available men to socialize with in the nightlife.

Manhattan is a very uptight business setting with people who hustle and bustle in the Big Apple way. Tougher to meet people unless you are good to break down barriers. New York are great but more reserved at first, but I like their honesty. Depending on you and your social graces and flexibility of adapting to people's lifestyles it really depends on which fence you reside. NYC- Reserved, cautious and take a little longer to mix and mingle.Seattle- A little more carefree, open and casual with a easier ease of living. I lean to the NW and even though I reside in the Midwest I can relate better knowing the lifestyle, people and how they live. You might be more comfortable in Seattle, and if the rain doesn't bother you, the area is fine.........Which city is a better place for a single woman that is looking for marriage, Seattle or Manhatan?
Well I live in Seattle and must say, it's AWESOME!

The markets and local hang outs are perfect to meet new people. Not to mention that University of Washington and Seattle University are right there! You'll never be short on any parties, and because of the local schools, singles come from all over the area just to meet up in downtown. Plus you ever plan on having kids and starting a family once you find the guy, right across the bridge is Bellevue, Clyde Hill and Medina. The best and wealthiest suburbs in the state.

But if your just into the dating seen, I highly recommend it!

Good Luck

Paul
