Your post is spot on. It's all about easing their burning conscience to what they themselves know is wrong. I saw the testimony of an ex homosexual not to long ago who had become Christian, and he was dying on his death bed with aids, and a Christian pastor who had lead him to Christ went into see him, and he told the pastor before dying he said '; Please don't stop preaching to homosexuals about Christ, they know their life style is wrong, they are just in denial about it'; and he went on to tell the pastor, that some of the most militant homosexuals are the ones who's conscience convict them the most, which is the reason for their behavior. It's was a really profound testimony. If i knew where I had seen it, I would post a link so you could read it. God bless.
No I want the same rights as you have! I can have my spiritual marriage but I want legal benefits too. I don't need your approval. IF you look back in history you will see there has been gay marriage in almost every culture in the past.





Civil unions will not work because separate is NOT equal and never will be.





President Obama isn't for gay marriage but he isn't against it either. He's the best the gay community has had. He was against prop 8 and wants to get rid of ';don't ask, don't tell';





Edit: Why do people care so much about me? It's kind of flattering but annoying at the same time. I was born and and I will die gay. I have ben gay for as long as I can remember. Even if I wasn't, why would people care?? It's my life.
We shouldn't have to bend. And I think it's pretty messed up that the majority has spoken (voted it down) and some states like Iowa seem to think that those voices were invalid, and what they think is more fit for the state's people. If the govt wants it to happen then that's what we have to live with.





Marriage is a religious sacrament. Gays contradict the bible. When you put two and two together you will find that gays cannot technically be married.


Besides a civil union is the same thing so why do gays have to be labeled as ';married.'; Get a civil union and tell your friends and family you're married- problem solved.
This anti-gay marriage rubbish is getting very boring now.

Homosexuality, regardless of the claims of gay activists, is a LEARNED behavior, influenced by experiences of the person when they are growing up. Parental non-involvement with sexual education, curiosity, whatever.
OR so they can transfer property within their union without paying gift taxes OR so they can get health care coverage under one partners job OR so they can get a better tax rate OR because they love one another and want to be formally married...
Because it's not equal. Are you just asking this question so you can get a few approvers to feel better about yourself?
