how long would that take and what is the procedure? thanksWhat is the difference between annulment and nulification of marriage here in the philippines?
Annulment is a process by which a marriage is dissolved because of various reasons one of which is irreconcilable differences. Nullification, on the other hand, is a process that stops the marriage from continuing because it is null and void or invalid from the start. One reason is that one of the contracting parties was a minor at the time of marriage.
How long the process takes depends on how fast and efficient the judge is when penning a decision taking into account that all requirements for the application has been submitted and no postponement on hearings has been done. Your lawyer will advise you on what to do in either of the case. What is the difference between annulment and nulification of marriage here in the philippines?
Annulment and Nullification (Null is the key word ) are the same in the Philippines , it just says that the marriage from the beginning is null and void because one of the partner has Psychological incapacity to contract the marriage (before the marriage that partner has already exhibit y that incapacity ) or that some requirement like permission of parent for minors was not obtained , some documentary requirement was not fulfilled before the marriage.
One most accepted for Annulment is the Psychological incapacity , so you have to have a Psychologist attesting to the mind set of the partner being accused as the party at fault . The marriage will not be annulled if the judge found out that there is connivance on both parties to annul marriage , or the marriage will be annulled because one partner has an extra marital affair , you could only get legal separation .
If one of the party accused for being at fault do not attend the hearing in three separate hearings then the annulment case even with proper notification , will be judged according to the pleadings with the judge and could be sh 6 months , if adversarial then could take two years .My brother in Law's annulment even the wife in US could not attend , it took him more than three years. Rember good lawyers make the difference
annulment is the nulification of marriage. it basically means the marriage is void. not valid. as if the marriage didnt happen. how long it takes depends on the circumstances involving the case. sometimes few months, sometimes years..

Can a relationship with an Indian guy lead to marriage?
I have a boyfriend who is an international student from India. We have been living together for about a year, but he refuses to tell his family just how close we really are. The best he could do was to casually mention a girfriend to his mother. I have a gut feeling that when he's done with school that will be the end of it. Is this a sign that he's not interested in marriage? If he can't even tell his parents about me, could he really marry me?Can a relationship with an Indian guy lead to marriage?
maby he's afraid to tell his family cause it could be a tradition in his family not to mary other nationality. Can a relationship with an Indian guy lead to marriage?
YEah, well tell me is he a hindu or a Muslim??? shouldve mentioned that. If he is a muslim then he has gone seriously against his religon ( major violation) and is obviously ashamed to tell his family back home. If he is a hindu then again it is considered a violation some how ?? Well i have the same feeling what you have, Ask him directly whats the deal?? If you are too interested ask him if he wants to marry you. If he ays i dunno or is vauge with his answer ,... best to dump him ASAP

What we called in english for that kind of marriage?
what we call in English for a kind of marriage where a set of bride and groom, say 25 are going to marry instantly at a stage infront of a large crowd. What we called in english for that kind of marriage?
I think you might mean ';multiple weddings';, where lots of couples get married together, all at once. There have been weddings like this in the Mormon church, I believe. What we called in english for that kind of marriage?
Instantly? means you are going to get married very quick, in that case it would be an ';elopement';
But you said in front of a large crowd which would mean a ';wedding';
Usually both don't happen at the same time
I am guessing that you are referring to a ';wedding';.

Would redefining marriage to include nonmating relationships encourage cohabitation among mating couples?
Thought experiment: Suppose we redefined ';high school diploma'; to mean a document available to anyone with ';equivalent life experiences.'; Anyone who claimed equivalent life experiences could appear at the local school board, sign an affidavit, and receive a diploma. Would that change in definition influence the study habits and attendance of present high school students, exerting an influence on the drop-out rate?
It seems to me that those who argue that redefining marriage would have no affect on actual marriage would have to argue that redefining a high school diploma would have no affect on study habits, attendance, or the dropout rate. Where am I going wrong?Would redefining marriage to include nonmating relationships encourage cohabitation among mating couples?
Obviously, your example of the redefinition of a diploma would change the study habits of high school, and the validity of the document as well. Sort of like a doctor claiming that his life experience would qualify him for a medical degree. Rather silly.
By the same circumstance, the institution of marriage would be affected likewise. Not only would it change, but it would be devalued as well. Sadly, this is the direction we have taken, and will achieve, as more and more states opt to support it, and the liberal view that spawned it.
Keep in mind also, that the institution of marriage was a device God created, and by that action, only He qualifies as the party with the ability to change it.Would redefining marriage to include nonmating relationships encourage cohabitation among mating couples?
I was in the supermarket tonight and say more than a few (apparently) unmarried couples shopping together. My guess is they're cohabitating. I wonder where this will go as we look back in a few decades. I personally believe that cohabitation ultimately HURTS the woman and gives the man an excuse to shirk responsibility while getting a bill-paying f#$%-buddy.
I think the redefining of out matrist state into a utopian mindset has played up the apparent invincibility of the female. Never mind that biology does not observe the flavor of the month liberalism that pervades this society.
Homosexual marriage advocates are of two groups: (1) sophomoric intellects and (2) gays that want a something for nothing.
Ultimately, will this be the downfall of western society? I say that a nation is built on principles and morals. Is this true???
You cannot redefine marriage as it is supposed to be. In that case you would only be adjusting for one's personal egoism and how he thinks it would be better for him. There is no compromising with God. You can do that in everything but it would be a waste of time.
what does homosexuality have to do with a high school diploma?
one is a preference and the other a document of achievement
your premise is flawed.....how do you qualifiy your statement?
Marriage is not prohibited among couples who do not intend to have children, and Christian marriages have historically included sterile ones.
Strawman. Try again.
Banning homosexuals from enjoying the same right of marriage that heterosexuals do is like banning homosexuals from getting a high school education using your example.
That is where you are going wrong.
Redefining marriage will not change the fact that marriage is between a ';man'; and a ';woman';.
It's not a fair comparison, because you would have to prove that you have ';equivalent life experiences.'; And guess what? We already have a system like that. It's called the GED. If you drop out of school and then decide to have a high school diploma, you have to take a test to prove you have similar knowledge as one who stayed in high school until graduation. If you pass the test, you get your GED - which is pretty much the same as a high school diploma. With a GED you can get into college, get better jobs, etc. Does it have any affect on those who stayed in school? Not really. People who choose to drop out pretty much already have their minds made up, and it's up to them to get their GED if they so choose. The ones that want to stay in school do just that. Just because there are multiple ways to get the same thing doesn't mean that one way is better than another. We all need individual paths in order to reach the same goal.
The point is, marriage is a personal RIGHT, and every human being should receive the same rights. It's pretty plain and simple. No government has any right to tell human beings whom they are allowed to marry or give special privileges to certain couples but not others. Make it equal, or do away with marriage altogether.
you went wrong comparing marriage to a hs diploma
you also went wrong using the word non-mating relationships in place of homosexual relationships.
Marriage by the state((civil ceremony)) doesn't mention god, jesus, allah or billy bubba bible chucker in its content what so ever..it is a civil contract between two adults and should be free from discrimination based on gender..It is free from discrimination based on race, creed ETC so why not gender?
Now look at the hypocrisy of the United States:
All states allow one man and one woman to be legally married.
some allow same sex marriage and some do not allow same sex marriages...seems logical right...ok
now the Hypocrisy is that in ALL 50 states in the union allow marriage between a Man and another Man who has had sexual rreassignment
surgery to change his male genitals over to female...they also allow marriage between a Woman and another Woman who has had sexual rreassignment surgery to change her female genitals over to male..
So as you can plainly see it is not a matter of redefining what marriage is...it is a matter of defining physical genitalia...
The penis goes with the vagina and vice versa even if said penis or vagina was artificially created by surgery!
This is all because of the infestation of religion within our government. And the christian obsession with what types of sexual acts adults are preforming in their own homes.
If they would spend as much time on doing good work as they do on watching and protesting homosexuals and fearing an end to all mankind becuase everyone will turn gay and no one will have babies, maybe there wouldnt be so many homeless abused children on the streets

If gay marriage become legal, would you practice abstinence?
I mean, for gays and lesbians.
I asked this question a few months ago, I just wondering what would be the answer now.
Mini poll: Pizza or Pancake? If gay marriage become legal, would you practice abstinence?
Good question.
And no. ^.^ I'm really responsible and picky as it is, though.
MP: Pizza. If gay marriage become legal, would you practice abstinence?
I used to go to conservative churches that teach that abstinence crap, and I learned that the leaders of these churches actually crack jokes about 30 and 40 year-old virgins behind their backs. Now I just send my Christian friends to the site below which debunks the whole thing against premarital sex in the Bible. It covers same-sex lifestyles too. I hope it helps you.
Well..i don't practice abstinence now and don't have plans for it wither in future!!
;)
But..I think most homosexuals will not practice abstinence only IF they were doing it so for the legalization of gay marriages!!
MP:Surly a PIZZA!!
From what I've heard, abstinence among gays and lesbians is extremely rare. What you mean is ';chastity'; or ';faithfulness'; in which case I see no correlation, as normal people cheat on their spouses all the time.
No, but I'm very responsible and won't just sleep with anyone. I'd have to know them for a while. And I mean Really know them.
Pizza (veggie supreme!!)
I fail to see how the two are linked any more after legalization of gay marriage than they would be before?
Sorry, it just may be my standpoint, but I just don't see cause and efect.
I would like to be married after 23 or 25 so for to wait that long is not a possibility, but that does not mean I will be promiscuous.
Why would I practice abstinence??
Pizza.
Of course I would. I intend to anyway, I'm still a virgin. %26lt;3
Pancake.
what does being gay have to does gay marriage have to do with abstinence? people are going to do the same that they did before marriage was legal
me personally no but if my girlfriend wants to than i will try it.
organic cheese pizza
Why would they?

Don't gays want societies approval for same sex marriage just so they can feel better about themselves?
Why should the majority bend and we all pretend that their lifestyles are normal and call it a marriage?
Why is it up to the rest of us to make them feel normal?
Most of the world does not allow this but gays act like we are the only ones that are backwards,
Whats wrong with letting them have civil unions then call it a day?
Even president Obama says marriage is between a man %26amp; a woman.Don't gays want societies approval for same sex marriage just so they can feel better about themselves?
you're right! just like those silly blacks wanted to vote and marry outside their race just to feel better about themselves.Don't gays want societies approval for same sex marriage just so they can feel better about themselves?
Your post is spot on. It's all about easing their burning conscience to what they themselves know is wrong. I saw the testimony of an ex homosexual not to long ago who had become Christian, and he was dying on his death bed with aids, and a Christian pastor who had lead him to Christ went into see him, and he told the pastor before dying he said '; Please don't stop preaching to homosexuals about Christ, they know their life style is wrong, they are just in denial about it'; and he went on to tell the pastor, that some of the most militant homosexuals are the ones who's conscience convict them the most, which is the reason for their behavior. It's was a really profound testimony. If i knew where I had seen it, I would post a link so you could read it. God bless.
No I want the same rights as you have! I can have my spiritual marriage but I want legal benefits too. I don't need your approval. IF you look back in history you will see there has been gay marriage in almost every culture in the past.
Civil unions will not work because separate is NOT equal and never will be.
President Obama isn't for gay marriage but he isn't against it either. He's the best the gay community has had. He was against prop 8 and wants to get rid of ';don't ask, don't tell';
Edit: Why do people care so much about me? It's kind of flattering but annoying at the same time. I was born and and I will die gay. I have ben gay for as long as I can remember. Even if I wasn't, why would people care?? It's my life.
We shouldn't have to bend. And I think it's pretty messed up that the majority has spoken (voted it down) and some states like Iowa seem to think that those voices were invalid, and what they think is more fit for the state's people. If the govt wants it to happen then that's what we have to live with.
Marriage is a religious sacrament. Gays contradict the bible. When you put two and two together you will find that gays cannot technically be married.
Besides a civil union is the same thing so why do gays have to be labeled as ';married.'; Get a civil union and tell your friends and family you're married- problem solved.
This anti-gay marriage rubbish is getting very boring now.
This is what really annoys me about christians, republicans and the other various breeds of criminals and illiterates who go on about it.
They keep going on and on ad-infinitum about the same old cr*p endlessly and needlessly.
You dont control the World (mainly because you're stupid..) get over it.
Homosexuality, regardless of the claims of gay activists, is a LEARNED behavior, influenced by experiences of the person when they are growing up. Parental non-involvement with sexual education, curiosity, whatever.
OR so they can transfer property within their union without paying gift taxes OR so they can get health care coverage under one partners job OR so they can get a better tax rate OR because they love one another and want to be formally married...
Because it's not equal. Are you just asking this question so you can get a few approvers to feel better about yourself?

How is marriage different from a civil union?
Thanks in advanced. How is marriage different from a civil union?
A civil union is a modern label for segregation of same-gender couples. Separate, but ';equal';. In reality, it is no different than other forms of discrimination. How is marriage different from a civil union?
Civil Unions exist in only a handful of places: Vermont, New Jersey and Connecticut. California and Oregon have domestic partnership laws that offer many of the same rights as civil unions.
Marriages are when people marry, they tend to do so for reasons of love and commitment. But marriage is also a legal status, which comes with rights and responsibilities. Marriage establishes a legal kinship between you and your spouse. It is a relationship that is recognized across cultures, countries and religions.
civil union is the state reconizing that your together you have more rights than unregistered couples. in marriage you can make certain decisions for the partner usually civil unions are for couples tha don't qualify for marriage ... in marriage ur intitled to finacial and legal things

Ladies and gentlemen? what would do if your spouse came home with another child outside of your marriage?
ladies what would you do if you found out your husband just had another child outside of your marriage?
gentlemen what would you do if you found out your wife got pregnant by another man outside of your marriage? and people be for real. and by the way this is not the situation with me, but it is the situation with my brother-in-law (my husband's brother). and his wife helps him take care of this child that he went out and had during the course of their marriage.Ladies and gentlemen? what would do if your spouse came home with another child outside of your marriage?
Wow, I would leave him to do it, its not my child and he deceived me so...TOOTLES to him.Ladies and gentlemen? what would do if your spouse came home with another child outside of your marriage?
I think I would have to leave, obviously. I love my husband to death, unconditionally. Of course that means if he did this to me I would still love him, however I do not think I would be able to handle the disrespect it would have taken for him to stray outside our marriage, betray our vows. Not only that, but to be so irresponsible about it that he didn't use protection and got another woman pregnant?
As much as it would hurt me to have to spend the rest of my life without him, I would have to leave. I would not be abl to tolerate that.
Wish them luck.
If he came home with another child from outside the marriage? I'd tell him to turn around and head back out because he wouldn't be coming back in my house with that kind of news. It's one thing to cheat and deceive, but to actually not take the time to use protection or make sure that he was carefully protected which means he could have not only brought home a child but a disease as well, that's unforgivable in my book and he'd be out the door.
if it were me, I wouldn't stay.
but this is your BIL's marriage and he and his wife have worked this out between them and it's none of your business.
Your only responsibility is to follow his wife's lead and if you have reason to interact with the child to be polite and not take out any anger or disrespect you feel for the BIL on the child.
I guess some people just don't figure they're worth much more than a lousy partner is willing to give them. For me, a child outside the boundaries of our relationship would be the demise of what we have together. I could not be with him any longer. And I would hope he would have the balls to feel the same if I got knocked up with someone else's kid.
This is like my worst nightmare. I would hate him! I don't think I would be able to get past that. I wouldn't want anything to do with the child even though the child is a victim as well. I would never want my husband to see the child or pay child support, but this is also not fair to the child. I would go crazy and probably kick his *** out and go to thereapy for years!
Well you don't know what neither one of them is going through until you are in there shoes. She might not leave because she loves him and will do anything to keep him around, and same goes for him. You have to ask yourself what would you do and if it was you instead of them. I know everyone will say that they would leave but you don't know. I would say the same thing you damn right I would leave, but I think about losing my husband it makes me sick. So yea I don't know what I would do.
I would welcom the child to my marriage and take care of him like he was my own. I'm guessing that the father would be a dead beat man and this child does not have the fault of anything and deserves the chance to live ina happy home and have a happy life.
I'm serious about this.
With each situation it is different some can except it and other can't. It show me that the sister-in-law has a big heart to be doing that. It is not the child fault for what has happened.
But I be honest with you I do not think I would be with the man.
Shes a gr8 wife.......maybe they have some kind of ';inside'; understanding with each other, and thats y shes so accepting of the outside baby and takes care of it. Good woman that one. Maybe something happend with them that no1 knows about and she's 4given him 4 what he did. Good 4 her
simple, that is cheating I would LEAVE HIM and would def. NOT raise or take care of that child...
*EDIT* haley25_... Are you kidding me? good woman? that is a DUMB woman with no self worth... oh pleaaassee raising another stupid woman's child only because he couldn't keep it zipped, that would be a permanent reminder of his ';affair'; ... H E L L N O ....
I came home to my wife and told her that my mistress was pregnant and that was 20 years ago. She quit working at Sears and left with my baby and I never seen her again. To this day I don;t even know if it was a boy or a girl.
Dealing with my hubbys affair has been difficult enough, almost impossible, but if there were the everyday reminder of a child, I'm not sure I could survive it. She must really love him and she should have some really good karma coming her way--she is admirable.
its a difficult situation and it depends upon the kind of relationship one is enjoying with his or her spouse and his or her spouse with his or her partner responsible for the child and the circumstances that happened
I'd be stunned because it's impossible for me to imagine. If she wanted to stay together I would try, but, I'm sure I would harbor resentment. It is really hard to say. I have to admire your brother in laws wife.
i would cry because having a baby is something we are struggling to do.
i would break up with him.
i would be very broken hearted because not only did he cheat but he was able to have the baby that i am not able to give yet.
The child had better be at least 9.... and even then, I would probably divorce him for lying to me all these years....
Any way I see it... divorce... whether is is during our marriage or before... either way... he wouldn't be with me any more.
Wow I would freak out. But you can't blame the child. Depends on if he was still cheating.

If I could find it in myself to forgive my husband then I would help to raise the child just like if they were mine. The child in this case should never be left out or mistreated due to the adults not acting like adults.
To be honest...I haven't a clue what I would do...easy to predict what one might do in this situation BEFORE it actually happens....All I can say is that your brother-in-law's wife is one strong woman!....
I would probably file for divorce the next day. I don't do well with liars and cheaters and I would never be able to trust him again. So it would pretty much be time for me to leave.
She would leave me and I would leave her. Also if it was before we got married, she would accept it. But if it wasn't, I would be dead meat, no question about that.
I'd divorce him!! If he cheated on me while married and was stupid enough to not to use protection and got her pregnant.. It would so be over!
No way in HELL am I going to help raise another woman's child...
Adultery is kind of a biggie with me. I know, silly, but I want my husband to only have sex with me. I'd leave him.
divorce, and this is for real, people deserve better than a lieing cheater.
I would divorce him and that would be the end of that.
Oil up the pistol and tell them to leave out the window.
I would freak out.
Show him the other side of the front door!
there would no longer be a marriage..he a$$ would be gone...what kind of respect does a person have for their spouse if they go and cheat on them...none!!
I would have nothing to do with that child, why should I ?
gentlemen what would you do if you found out your wife got pregnant by another man outside of your marriage? and people be for real. and by the way this is not the situation with me, but it is the situation with my brother-in-law (my husband's brother). and his wife helps him take care of this child that he went out and had during the course of their marriage.Ladies and gentlemen? what would do if your spouse came home with another child outside of your marriage?

Is it weird that my girlfriend is against gay marriage?
i'm not sure how i feel about it either. i really don't believe in marriage period. i do, however, believe in equal rights. Is it weird that my girlfriend is against gay marriage?
I don't think it's weird. As an openly gay woman, I really don't believe in gay marriage. I do however, as you said, believe in equal rights. I think that maybe a system comparable to civil unions but with the same rights of a marriage (such as recognizing spouses as primary decision makers) would work a lot better than just allowing everyone a ';marriage.'; Plus, it throws out the Bible argument. Is it weird that my girlfriend is against gay marriage?
That is a little weird actually. I mean, even if she herself doesn't think she would want to get married and even doesn't ';believe'; in marriage, she shouldn't be deciding for other people whether they should be able to get married or not. And especially since she's gay, she should know how it is possible for two people for the same sex to love each other, which is hard for some people to get over.
I know a lot of politically savoy LGBT people that understand that marriage isn't the only solution to the issue, and that there are a large number of other things that should be changed before gay marriage is made a priority.
I'm kind of with that. I am gay, and married.
Well, not married as such. I have a ';Civil Partnership'; which gives me the equality. Besides, in my country, marriage is a religious institution, and I want no part of that.
i think it is cuz you u call your self Gay then you well want to help your peeps out .Its kinda like Buying a burger cheese meal with alot of fries....then getting the diet coke.you know what i mean
Are you lesbians?
because if you are then I do think that it could be a little awkward if she doesn't believe in gay marriage and she is gay.
The bigger question is ';why?';
If she is against it because of some religious thing, yes I think that's weird.
Not weird. She's just has a conservative view on that issue. Good luck.
A little bit but she is not alone. Some LGBT's feel that they want no part of traditionally straight customs.
That is really really wierd. Not even gonna lie that is odd
No it's not weird, some people are just that way.
No it isn't.
um... yeah...
i am against it too your girlfriend must be a lesbian i am in love with hereye color

Is there a certain month or deadline that you need to get married to get your marriage tax break ?
12/31/2007 for 2007 tax filings.
Once you're married, if you're together your choices are MFJ or MFS and MFJ is almost always more favorable.
Edit: They corrected the ';marriage tax'; and you are generally not taxed more than if single. Is there a certain month or deadline that you need to get married to get your marriage tax break ?
There is no marriage tax break... In many cases, married couples pay more taxes than if they were both single.
You are considered married in the tax year if you are married by December 31st.
Edit: They partially fixed the marriage penalty... In many cases it still exists.
Example... When I was single, I itemized... My fiance did not, and took her standard deduction. When we got married... Our deductions were equal to my itemized deductions... My wife lost her standard deductionIs there a certain month or deadline that you need to get married to get your marriage tax break ?
If you are married as of 12/31 of the tax year, you file as married.
December 31 of the year the taxes were paid. Ex'; if you get married December 31, 2007 you get that tax break for all of 2007

i would be very broken hearted because not only did he cheat but he was able to have the baby that i am not able to give yet.
Answer my question:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
If I could find it in myself to forgive my husband then I would help to raise the child just like if they were mine.
The bigger question is ';why?';
No it isn't.
um... yeah...
i am against it too your girlfriend must be a lesbian i am in love with her

If your marriage ended in divorce, would you turn your wedding ring into a right hand ring?
My marriage ended badly. I'm over it now and it's no big deal. However, at first I wanted to sell my ring, but I really love it and just can't see getting rid of it. Anyone re-size their ring and wear it as a right hand ring?If your marriage ended in divorce, would you turn your wedding ring into a right hand ring?
No i wouldn't wear it on my right hand I would make mine in to a cl*t ringIf your marriage ended in divorce, would you turn your wedding ring into a right hand ring?
Personally, I would not be able to keep it. Especially if the marriage ended because of adultery or something painful like that. It would only remind me of the failed marriage and cause me extra pain.
But if you love the ring and don't mind keeping it then of course change it over to the other hand. No sense in getting rid of something that you cherish/enjoy.
My MIl turns hers into new jewellery as well.
I personally would go that route so that in the future you don't have to explain to some hot guy why you are still wearing your wedding ring, even if it is on a different hand. He'll automatically think you're not over it when you are and just like the ring. It's like having your exes name tattooed on your hand (according to my brother).
My Mom turned hers into a very beautiful right hand ring because she loved the diamond so much and my father was a miserable drunk jerk. Now that I am grown she gave it to me and that's mainly because it didn't fit her anymore. I think if you love it do it. A diamond is forever even if a man isn't. :)
I tried wearing my wedding ring on my right hand. However, without acknowledging, I would take my ring off my right hand and put it back on my wedding finger. After continuously doing that, I just took it off and put it in my purse. Haven't worn it since.
I'd save it for my kids, but if I had no kids, I'd have it reset. I have a 2 carat solitaire, and I am NOT getting rid of it, ever.
Wearing your ring on your right hand is traditionally done by widows and widowers.
Keep it and wear it on special occasions.
If I divorced or got another ring I would definitely wear mine as a right hand ring. It is very unusual (never seen another like it) and I love it as much now as the day I got it.
I gave mine to my daughter, it was just a band. I didn't want to wear it again. Bad reminder.
If you love your ring, wear it in the best of health.
I turned my in towards a different ring, a got myself a nicer one
Kinda of celebrating the end to a very mad marriage.
dont sell it it brings bad luck
just well hum keep it
stored in some place
it represent that that
piecem ment something
to you before but now
its over :)
No, I'd probably keep it in my jewelry box just to remember what once was.
I turned my ring into earrings and sold the large main diamond
I sold mine. I needed to do it for my own closure and piece of mind.
Do what makes you happy.
no, get rid of it with all the bad memories!!!!
or give it to your child for their significant other.
HELL YES
When I got divorced I pawned mine and proud of it
I'd pawn that sucker off. Oh wait, my ex-husband stole it from me.

Why does John McSame oppose drilling in ANWR? Why does Barack Hussien Obama oppose Same Sex Marriage?
These are two of the worst candidates ever. Agree or disagree? Why does John McSame oppose drilling in ANWR? Why does Barack Hussien Obama oppose Same Sex Marriage?
How can you call him McSame? I am a Democrat and we've been saying for years how John McCain is nothing like the other Republican and about how it's too bad that ALL Republican's can't be like McCain.
The truth is, of course, that McCain is the most unlike Bush of any of the Republican senator. (When Obama's people claim that Bush and McCain voted the same 94 percent of the time, they forget that most of the votes in the Senate are unanimous.) The fact that McCain backs commending a basketball team on its victory doesn't mean that he is in lockstep ideologically with the president.
The issues on which McCain and Bush differ are legion:
* McCain fought for campaign finance reform -- McCain-Feingold -- that Bush resisted and ultimately signed because he had no choice.
* McCain led the battle to restrict interrogation techniques of terror suspects and to ban torture.
* McCain went with Joe Lieberman on a tough measure to curb climate change, something Bush denies is going on.
* McCain opposed the Bush tax cuts when they passed.
* McCain urged the Iraq surge, a posture Bush rejected for years before conceding its wisdom.
* McCain favors FDA regulation of tobacco and sponsored legislation to that effect, a position all but a handful of Republican senators oppose.
* McCain's energy bill, also with Lieberman, is a virtual blueprint for energy independence and development of alternate sources.
* After the Enron scandal, McCain introduced sweeping reforms in corporate governance and legislation to guarantee pensions and prohibit golden parachutes for executives. Bush opposed McCain's changes and the watered-down Sarbanes-Oxley bill eventuated.
* McCain has been harshly critical of congressional overspending, particularly of budgetary earmarks, a position Bush only lately adopted (after the Democrats took over Congress).
Remember that McCain ran against Bush in 2000.Why does John McSame oppose drilling in ANWR? Why does Barack Hussien Obama oppose Same Sex Marriage?
It might Come as a surprise to you that the man you call McSame is the man that voted overall for Bush's proposals than The Muslim Fakar Obama did . Chech it out and you will find I am correct and McCain is agaist this proposal because of the Land that is going to be messed up by the oil refineries and the pipelines
And Obama says he is against same sex marriage , but he will say anything to keep from lossing any votes , He is also the man that said he voted against the war which is impossible since he did not take his seat in congress until 4 - 5 years afterthe vote on the war was taken in congress . Go ahead please check this out .
Lastly this is also the same man that kept bills from going through that would have put a stop to live birth abortions which he tends to believe is ok . Now with all I have said , I invite you to check it all out and then use your head to vote you conscience not your party .
This whole kinda question/answer was on Yahoo front page yesterday too bad I don't know the link otherwise I would pass it on with joy. Bascially, the RNC and McCain do not agree compoletely on issues. So what they've done was agree to disagree. They plainly put it as: Why start controversy now until we get him in the White House. Is a marriage between 2 citizens of The Philippines Valid in The Netherlands?
Is a marriage, concerning 2 citizens of The Philippines Valid in The Netherlands?
For Example, Lets say a woman is married to a man in PH (Both from The Philippines) and according to PH law, divorce is impossible.
Is it possible that the Filippa woman moves to The Netherlands and gets married with somebody else? Or does she have to Annul the wedding first?
Thanks In Advance,
IT--Is a marriage between 2 citizens of The Philippines Valid in The Netherlands?
Because Phil Laws do not recognise divorce, bringing your partner into that country can subject you to litigation for polygamy. Marriages contracted outside of the country and are not allowed here, can not be recognised. In both cases, you'll be liable to answer. The most logical is to have the marriage voided in the country where it was contracted or in your domicile. Is a marriage between 2 citizens of The Philippines Valid in The Netherlands?

Will someone tell me the controversy over same sex marriage?
I'm doing a high school report on it, will someone please simply explain the controversy over it and why people want it to be illegal? Try not to use gigantic words because I get confused easily, Thanks. Will someone tell me the controversy over same sex marriage?
marriage is suppose to be between a man and women. some people are ok with a civil agreement where you get all the benefits of a marriage just not the same name. Will someone tell me the controversy over same sex marriage?
Because the word marriage is a religious term meaning the joining of a man and a woman. So a man/man marriage defies the meaning of the word entirely. The government attempted at allowing ';unions';, which would be the exact same thing with the same benefits, but the gay rights folks turned it down. Seems the want the label over everything else.
And by the way, I'm pro-gay marriage, I'm just stating what the controversy is.
I totally agree MasterPy..., the logic is severely flawed.
For many Bible believers, Jews, Muslims, Hindu, Buddhists, Baha'i and on and on, there is no way they can tolerate same sex marriage within their faith. They go on to attempt to prohibit people outside of their faith, by using the democratic process. This means that because a very solid majority of people wanted laws that defined what marriage could and could not be, we got those laws on the books.
Just as an observation, while a majority may be willing to tolerate same sex marriage, we do not have a solid majority willing to endorse SSM. A clear majority has no interest in using permission for SSM. So, in absence of a clear majority in favor of abolishing laws prohibiting, the laws stay on the books.
Then we have legal challenges, based on a concept that freedom should not be withdrawn by legislation unless that legislation is necessary. Now such a challenge in and of itself suggests that most other laws relating ot marriage, bigamy, polygamy, perhaps marriage to a sister or other close relative might be thrown out if the courts throw out the rule of one man and one woman, exactly in both cases. There does not appear to be any absolute necessity for restricting the freedom of people for any of these laws any more than the rest. At least we see a whole deck of cards about to collapse if this principle is supported in this case.
Seeing this, not only religious people but a large contingent of others do not want to apply this legal principle to marriage. Many women do not want to leave the option of polygamy open to their spouses.
OK, we have a lot of opposition. We dare not even consider this. Yet court challenges are presented and we must be prepared to present in court. Some governments simply do not want to spend their time fighting this in court, particularly when courts have concluded that SSM should have the same legal footing as Hetero marriage. Canada for example had had clear statements from its government that they were going to firmly support the historic standing of traditional marriage, then the supreme court told the government that they would not be able to enforce the old law, they had to rewrite the law to conform to the charter of rights, or remove the restriction against SSM.
Despite vehement support for the existing laws, the old law collapsed..
Our Parliament debated but could not find a way to retain this restriction. So we still have permitted SSM.
Based on the principle, as distinct from the explicit wording, it would appear that mandatory monogamy within marriage would likewise be open to challenge.
Well, in principle already people can be polygamous if they do not go through the ritual of marriage, do not attempt to register subsequent marriages.
And this leads into the question of civil unions. Recognizing civil unions of gays within the mandatory monogamous rules is a compromise. Gays get to be married in principle but must be monogamous. Both sides won. But it leaves the more fundamental issue, whether the state has any place in the bedrooms of the nation, deciding who may and may not be there as much up in the air as ever.
It's hard to explain flawed logic. Some people think marriage has something to do with God even though the government keeps the records and Atheists are allowed to get married.
i assume most people think its morally wrong because the bible says that homosexuality is wrong.
and by the way i disagree.
One reason some people may want to keep it illegal, is that people who are NOT gay may marry just to reap the benefits, like tax breaks.
IT may not be good for your report but it is the truth... RELIGION

RELIGION
How is marriage going to ';not make STDs work';?
You know how those sex ed teachers at your schools always say not to have sex before marriage because you will get STDs and pregnancy? Well i understood the pregnancy part but if you get married, do you still get STDs if you have sex? I know that teens can get STDs but do adults get them too? Confused...so many questions...but these are the two main ones...How is marriage going to ';not make STDs work';?
Yes adults get STD's too. Any person can get STD's by sleeping with more then 1 person. When you have sex with someone, you also have sex with whoever the other person slept with. Being chaste before marriage keeps you from having STD's (if you both remain faithful to each other) because if you only have sex with your spouse and your spouse has only had sex with you. I am one of those people who isn't going to have sex before marriage. How is marriage going to ';not make STDs work';?
anybody can get an std. they say you wont get one if you're married because the schools say you should stay a virgin till you're married which would mean whoever you marry would be a virgin and you wouldn't get an std. however by the time most people get married they are no longer virgins so its possible one of them could have an std. and yes after you get married you can still get an std if you or spouse cheats. if you're gonna have sex, just use protection and get tested regularly and you should be fine.
Two persons who are clean (not affected by STD) will never get STD's if they stay together as in marriage. STD's is only spread from sleeping around!
Adults can also get STD's if they sleep around (with other people) the block, around the town, around the State, around the country and around the globe. Understand now?
according to my health teacher 1 in 4 sexually active ppl over the age of 20 have an STD. You can only get an STD through sexual intercourse if the other person has one

Is gay marriage actually illegal, or is it just forbidden in the Catholic Church?
I've been told that it is illegal, and I've also been told that it's not illegal, that the few states that have made it ';legal'; are just making the church allow gay couples to be married...
which is true?Is gay marriage actually illegal, or is it just forbidden in the Catholic Church?
It is currently legal in three states, three more have approved it and it will become legal if something major doesn't derail it, and there are a few more states that recognize gay marriages but do not allow them.
Until a few years ago there were some states with vague laws so it wouldn't have been illegal, but pretty much all of those have closed the loopholes in one way or another.
None of the states can make the Catholic Church do anything. The best they might be able to do is cut off a church's participation in government programs for certain purposes, such as when the Catholic Church in California was no longer allowed to place children for adoption because they refused to consider gay parents.
I have not heard of any such action with respect to gay marriage, though. Is gay marriage actually illegal, or is it just forbidden in the Catholic Church?
LEGAL simply means that there is a law in existence permitting something. ILLEGAL means there is a law in existence prohibiting something. Marriage is legal in all states between a man and a woman, meaning the states recognize the marriage of the two. Only FIVE states have made marriage of gays LEGAL by passing a law RECOGNIZING their marriage along with those who are heterosexual and married. No state can, under our laws, force any church to allow gay couples to be married. If gays cannot find a church to get married in, they can get married elsewhere and if they can't find a priest or clergy to perform the ceremony, there is the option of a civil marriage which is also available to heterosexual couples.
There are six states that recognize the legality of gay marriage. They are Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, Maine, Iowa and New Hampshire. As you may know, California recognized gay marriage which prompted conservative Californians backed with money contributed from wealthy Mormons and other religious organizations like Saddleback Church, or whatever it's called, to amend California's constitution to prohibit same sex marriage.
California's Supreme Court affirmed the legality of this amendment to California's state constitution, which prompted two of the nation's preeminent constitutional law practitioners to join forces. They plan to file a test case in a select Federal District Court soon and they will argue that ones right to lawfully wed a member of the same sex is guaranteed by the US Constitution.
The Catholic Church, and many other organized religions, do not perform same sex marriages as a matter of church policy. They perform wedding ceremonies for opposite sex couples who belong to their particular religion only, as is their legal right.
No litigation is contemplated that would interfere with any organized religion's right to choose who can or cannot be married a religious ceremony. In fact, any such law would be unconstitutional on its face.
Same sex marriages are recognized as lawful in six states. Forty-four states have chosen not to recognize same sex marriage as of this date. The Catholic Church does not perform same sex marriage ceremonies, and it cannot be compelled to do so under state and federal law.
The cry to ';legalize' gay marriage is a demand to have it recognized by the government. Not legal and ';illegal'; are very different. If a gay couple were married in Utah, the state would choose not to acknowledge the coupling and they would be seen as two single adults. It would not be a legal contract. They would not be arrested, which is what illegal implies.
The church does not write laws. If they do not wish to preform a service they do not have to. I am not catholic. My wife is. she wanted to marry in the church and they would only do it if I changed faith. I refused and so did they.
That doesn't mean that we are not married. We just weren't married in the church.
America has a separation of church and state. The Catholic Church doesn't dictate law. Gay marriage is recognized in some states, and banned in others according to laws passed by legislature. The church aspect is just a formality. To be married in a state, you only have to go through a formal process through the courts.
No bill that allows gays to marry in any of the 6 states that have approved them, forces churches, in any way, to recognize or perform the marriages.
Everything is forbidden in the catholic church!
Anyway it is legal in some states.
the state can NOT make a church allow gay marriage.
marriage in a CAtholic church is ONLY between a man and woman - as it's a sacrament instituted by Christ.
Its illegal in most states (there may be a couple that it isnt but i'm not sure) Most people dont care about the Catholic church so it wouldnt be such a big deal if it was just a catholic church thing.
It's illegal. They are just trying to loosen marriage laws to make it convenient for Sharia law
It is illegal in most states.
Pretty much all religions consider it wrong. So do 44 states and almost all people.
Why does it need to be illegal if it is forbidden.
illegal in the U.S. except for like 2 states

What percent of divorces occur because of an accidental marriage at a place such as Las Vegas or on vacation?
Dear Love,
Regardless of location, 50 percent of all marriages end in divorce. What percent of divorces occur because of an accidental marriage at a place such as Las Vegas or on vacation?
Not very many I would think. That would take a enormous amount of spontaneity or liquor.

I don't know anybody personally, but I did once get into contact with a man who covers pro-homosexuality arguments in general. His name is Dr. John Corvino, and he's written many arguments that might help in the topic of same-sex marriage.
His email address is j.corvino@wayne.edu
He can also be found on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/johncorvino
Go to Equality California or some of the no on 8 sites on Face Book. There should be someone there you can connect with. Just email them the questions and they can email your answers.eye color

My friends marriage was conducted in a hindu temple by putting goldchain with mangalsutra & exchanging garland?
her marriage is not registered so far( married on sep2008) and they are living separately since marriage bcos of family circumstances.its remarriage for both of them.is their marriage valid? My friends marriage was conducted in a hindu temple by putting goldchain with mangalsutra %26amp; exchanging garland?
Validity of Hindu Marriage Ceremonies is based on section 7 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, read it:-
Ceremonies for a Hindu marriage.-(1) A Hindu marriage may be solemnized in accordance with the customary rites and ceremonies of either party thereto.
(2) Where such rites and ceremonies include the saptapadi (that is, the taking of seven steps by the bridegroom and the bride jointly before the sacred fire), the marriage becomes complete and binding when the seventh step is taken.
The Hindu marriage has to be solemnized according to the customary rites %26amp; ceremonies of any one of the party, so what has to be checked in the present case what were the necessary customary rites %26amp; ceremonies of both these two parties. Whether mere exchange of garland %26amp; putting golden chain with mangalsutra sufficient marriage ceremonies for any of them or not. Second question which has to be checked is if the rites and ceremonies include the saptapadi (that is, the taking of seven steps by the bridegroom and the bride jointly before the sacred fire) in case of any of these two parties. What I can presume this being a marriage between both or one of the south Indian person %26amp; as far my information goes the marriage ceremonies in certain group of people in southern or other part of India the ceremony of Satapadi doesn't exist, this however does not mean in that case their Hindu Marriages ceremonies are not valid if other required necessary marriage ceremonies applicable to both or one of the party has been preformed which will bind both of them in a legal marriage. In North Indian Marriages between Hindus the necessary ceremonies include Homa/Havan, Panigrahan %26amp; Saptapadi. Unless the complete history of the Hindu Marriage applicable to the parties in question is checked confirming that whatever ceremonies were performed between was legally sufficient for the valid marriage between them, no further comments can be passed on such marriage %26amp; its legal validity. None registration of Hindu Marriage does not invalidate the marriage in any case hence this plea that the marriage was not registered with the registrar of marriages under the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 or any other relevant matrimonial registration Act won't get any relief for assuming it invalid marriage on this ground only.My friends marriage was conducted in a hindu temple by putting goldchain with mangalsutra %26amp; exchanging garland?
Not under the law it isn't, but its my opinion that when two people love and are totally each others, in God's eyes and in their heart they are. That doesn't make a difference to probate courts if one of them dies or other things that matter if your single or married. Only a legal license will make it lawful.
well Im a bit confused...............I dnt know much, but what I feel is, temple marraige witnesses are not much strong ...... in case any legal issues arise...i feel that a registration, I mean marraige registration is issential.............and what abt in the long run? if the marraige is not registerred then........SHE will not be able to have any demand on her husband's properties, and then SHE will not be regarded as HIS wife.
Marriage is valid.
Marriage can be registered any time.
It is always advisable to get registered the marriage.
Under hindu marriage act it is valid , there may be witness for thsi marriage and some photographs , that's all it will take to prove this marriage.
in hindu, this is called as marriage, this marriage is valid (they will be having photos %26amp; videos)
Valid. But difficult to prove. Better get regd

Are Taureans and Cancerians the signs best suited to marriage?
Just my thoughts. Are Taureans and Cancerians the signs best suited to marriage?
Taurus and Libra's ruling planet is venus and they are well suited for long-term relationships. Cancers are also extreamly well suited to relationships as well because they are very emotionally in-tune to their partner. Are Taureans and Cancerians the signs best suited to marriage?
Do you mean to each other or in general?
If you're talking in general, I'd say Cancer. The sign of Cancer is more inclined toward hearth and home; they are interested in family matters and building foundations.
taureans with scorpion, or taureans with librans. definitely not with gemini
I think you are right.

Could i find a woman ho is thinking on marriage seriously? Not just for wasting the time?
I am thinking on marrying and would like to find a girl lloking for a serious relatiionship, but I think most of girls are wasting the time. Do you think it is possible to find a good girl on internet?Could i find a woman ho is thinking on marriage seriously? Not just for wasting the time?
I'm serious about getting married. But I do not think I will find him on the internet. Too many liars and game players on here.Could i find a woman ho is thinking on marriage seriously? Not just for wasting the time?
I do not think you will find someone on the internet, but all things are possible. Try joining a club that you are interested in and this way you will meet women that have something in common with you. Good Luck
Interesting slip ';ho'; instead of who? Or perhaps that is what you are looking for. Unless you are under the age of 12 and are looking to get married early, most females like to be referred to as women not girls, unless of course you still are a boy. Besides that I believe the Internet is a place to talk to various people and maybe the very very early stages of a friendship- but it's a long way from marriage.
How about local church events, or maybe some other interest that you have, school, horses, dogs (great ice breaker) Maybe a continuing education class. Well good luck on finding that special woman
That typoe, if it is one is just WAY toooooo funny.
Thankya for the laffs. if I find a ho I am gonna marry her also.
The chinese seemed eager to hook up and wed me when I was there, maybe you should try china.

If a girl senses you are too serious at first it may have a negative effect...best to just make as many friends as you can, get out and about with groups of friends and party, keep fit and leisure ctivities etc. you should eventually meet a like-minded girl that way.
unlikely on www,and slim percentage otherwise.
still goodluck.
sure you can.

Is there a time limit on consummation of a marriage?
I was told that when a man and woman have a nikah, they have a time limit on consummating the marriage, or else its void. Is that true?
Because what if they are both still in their teens and not ready for such a thing?
Or thousands of miles apart and will be for some time?Is there a time limit on consummation of a marriage?
There is no time limit to it. In Islam your first priority is to make your spouse feel comfortable with you and your family. Consummation can occur when the right time occurs.
Islam is a practical religion and is easy. Unfortunately many people like to make it strict for their selfish motives. Is there a time limit on consummation of a marriage?
Assalamu alaikum Wr Wbr. The marriage with a time limit is called mut'ah marriage or contracted marriage. This marriage is done by travellers or contracted employee in a country for certain years. They avoided zinah and usually they have family and have got married in their own country..This type of marriage is not allowed Islam.Marriage in Islam is sacred and tis deed is included in ibadah or good doing Marriage is part of iman (faith) and it should be in the name of Allah. or lillahi ta'ala. So it should be with the intention as long as the life on this earth or until die of each other
Yeah I never heard about that before. I don't think its true but who knows.
As true as much as you believe!
Not true at all. Take your time.
Thats not true.

What is the process of getting married (court marriage) in USA? How much time does the process take ?
how much time does the process of marriage take in a state like california? please explain the steps of the process in detail. thank u . have a nice day. Bye. God bless. What is the process of getting married (court marriage) in USA? How much time does the process take ?
I'm not sure about California. I would check this website http://marriage.about.com/cs/marriagelic鈥?/a> or do a search in google.
I just had a court house marriage and the steps I took were:
1. i went to my local vital statistics bureau office and applied for a marrage license. [[this cost me $40 and i needed a government issued ID and birth certificate]]
2. i went back 3 days later to pick up the license.
3. from there you can either:
a) go to your local court house and request a judge to marry you or
b) you can go to your local court house and appoint someone [[a friend or family member]] to marry you.
4. after this you'll have to let them know the date you plan to get married.
5. the court will give you paper work and the license back.
6. you get married :) then you take the license back to the vital of statistics office. [[they take 1 day to process the license]]
7. go back the next day and pay a $20 fee and recieve your marriage certificate.
it's alot of running around but well worth it :) good luck

1.My skain type is oily.
2.My compextion is brown. My marriage got fixed for that i want some tips for glowing skin.?
Oily skin is better than dry skin and brown complexion is not really a problem but a blessing. There had been white and black colored skin who wanted to have brown complexion by trying to sunbath or use whitening soaps. Glowing skin is not just a matter of how your skin looks like but the way you project yourself meeting people in any race, sex or age reasons. Your self acceptance is the most important thing for you to glow. Oily skins can be treated or prevented by proper hygiene. You can do it by regular washing of your face and also a hot and cold shower after a strenuous activity where delicate parts of your body were affected. Sweating is normal for everybody. If you don't sweat, you need to take your exercise to keep you better in shape and of course sustain a glowing skin.My marriage got fixed for that i want some tips for glowing skin.?

What does US immigration see as signs of marriage fraud?
Is not having a ring a sign of marriage fraud? How about elopement?
Age differences? What exactly sets the light bulb off to the USCIS that a marriage is fake? I have a real marriage in my eyes but don't want to create any signs that may be misinterpreted at the interview.
KandiceWhat does US immigration see as signs of marriage fraud?
Immigration is looking for everyday things you would expect from a married couple, and that is NOT easy to fake... things that come naturally when you live your lives together. As long as you are really married you shoudn't have a problem. Not having a wedding ring may look a little fishy, unless it is a cultural things. Many people elope, and many couple have age difference, my parents are 10 years apart and have been happily married for 30 + years. But there are things a true couple knows about each other. For example, if they ask each of you which side of the bed you sleep on and you both say the right, well that's not really possible. I have heard of them checking your key chains to see that you both have the same house key. They may ask things like what day is the trash picked up at your house, do you have cable, who it the provider, what time do you each leave for work etc... just little things that people who live together automatically know about each other. If you are worried that certain things about your relationship may 'set off the light bulb' then be prepared with an answer when they ask you about it. Why did you elope? Money, family problems, you are spontaneous????? only you know the answers! As long as you are in a real marriage they will be able to tell :) Just relax, the interview is really pretty simple once you go through it..... mine only last about 15 mins and was VERY simple. What does US immigration see as signs of marriage fraud?
Only certain cultures use rings as a sign of marriage (mostly western cultures). Not having a ring does not mean you you do not have a marriage. My wife did not want a wedding ring as she considered it a waste of money (she later changed her mind but wanted silver as they are less expensive) and in her culture it was not required.
';Lack of a ring is seriously suspicious -- it is such a deeply held tradition that lack of a ring makes anyone suspicious!'; NOT TRUE! In most Eastern cultures a ring is something new and is only an option!
My wife and I had no ring (as stated above). We are 10 years apart in age. We got married just before OPT was up and she had to leave the country. We have been married 26 years now so ...
How people interact, and knowing things about the other person. My wife sleeps on my right, her toothbrush is yellow (mine is blue), things like that you should know. Also meeting the family is something they might look at but it's not a deal breaker. Although they may want to know why.
Good Luck!
The most important signs are in the ways the two people interact, their shared interests, how they treat each other, how well they know each other. Do you treat each other with respect and caring? Do you share common interests and activities, e.g. both like to ski or opera fans or...? Do you work effectively together to build your home and relationship? Have similar aims in life and goals for your future together?
Plenty of other things can trigger a fraud investigation or make officials suspicious. Someone out-of-status or upcoming visa expiration might be in a rush to hook a spouse just to try to stay -- a hasty marriage in light of immigration situations is definitely suspicious. Meeting online or in chat rooms or through ';Cherry Blossoms'; is definitely suspicious since con artists prey on people through these media. Lack of a ring is seriously suspicious -- it is such a deeply held tradition that lack of a ring makes anyone suspicious!
If your marriage is real, your love for each other genuine, outward stuff doesn't matter anywhere near as much as the way you treat each other.
I'm sure when you go to the interview, they have cameras in the waiting area to observe the way you treat each other. Body language says alot, especially if you are touching each other or holding his hand. I think you should keep in mind that they are watching you before you even see them.

TEENAGE GUYS ONLY Would you save yourself for marriage to lose your virginity?
really, I don't want adults or girls with idealistic views or second hand words. TEENAGE GUYS: Are there any teenage guys left who want to wait to have sex until marriage?TEENAGE GUYS ONLY Would you save yourself for marriage to lose your virginity?
i was planning to but...
well i'm 16 and i had sex with my GED teacher when i was 14.... lol she was 27!
hey atleast i got my ged though~!!TEENAGE GUYS ONLY Would you save yourself for marriage to lose your virginity?
No, it was common in the old days for people to wait till marriage, but also keep in mind that Romeo and Juliet were 13 and 14 years old. Now, the average age a person in America loses their virginity is 14.3 years old.
well i would if i was still a virgin and i met someone special who wanted to wait, til marriage but I'm not saving my self for marriage but i want my first time to mean something so i want my first time to be with someone i actually have feelings for instead of a back alley skank
It goes many ways and ultimately it doesn't matter what others say its simply what you want. It's rare to find someone who waits these days but that doesn't mean there is no reason to do so. I'm 24 and will wait till I'm married.
I am an adult so take this as real world advice. I got my first piece of *** at 16 and OMG! This is why God put me on this Earth! saving yourself means you miss some good years of bedding sexy girls. what are you thinking?
Mostly ya...but u never know what happens at parties or hang outs...most of the time you dont think about it and sometime you just do it..but i will try to wait till marriage and get thru college without it
I'm a teenage guy : ) It's not just about sex until marriage for me
I could be married and not want to have sex until I absolutely love and trust the girl.
Waiting for the right moment
its not unnatural its how we were created and I want to
Absolutely not. I'm trying to lose it as soon as possible.
I am. Teenage parenting is a tough job you know so I am still waiting for MY legal age of marrying, 25 years old!
that's unnatural..
And be another 40 year old virgin? Difficult these days.
I have no shame in my nature kind sirmam.
No.
do it when you want (at a REASONABLE age), BUT BE SAFE
yep
nope
too late
yes...
as a muslim, we believe sex before marriage is a big sin.
Sorry. . . Too late.
But the girl it was with, I dated off and on for 6 months before we did anything. And the time was right.

Should marriage only be between a man and a woman?
I can't see how gay people would be allowed to get married under the Catholic faith. But should gay people be allowed to marry in a church? Or should they only be allowed a civil union? Or neither? Your thoughts....Should marriage only be between a man and a woman?
We aren't looking for religious marriage - we are looking for civil marriage. We aren't trying to make churches recognize our unions - we want the federal government to recognize them.
There are over one thousand federal rights and benefits afforded to married couples, but civil unions don't get any of those. If my lover of 8 years was in a coma and he had instructed me (prior to the coma) to have him taken off of life support after two weeks if there was no sign of response, his parents or a sibling could totally override that request because, legally, I'm not related to him.
Homosexual partners cannot add each other to health insurance plans, cannot enforce inheritance should one partner die (again, the family could override that, leaving the surviving partner with nothing) and a whole host of other things.Should marriage only be between a man and a woman?
If the church is against the marriage, then no, I would not force the church to perform the marriage or recognize the marriage. However, they SHOULD have equal access to the rights that come with legal marriage on a legal level.
Does the church make laws against every other type of marriage it disagrees with?
Isnt there more than one religion in this country? Shouldnt the people in religions who do support same sex marriage have the right for their religiously sanctioned marriage to be recognized legally?
If marriage is something that is too religious to offer it to all couples, then it has no business in the legal system.
Marriage =/= in a church. Marriage is a contract with the state, it's a legal standing. Sometimes it's performed in a church by a church official. Sometimes it's performed elsewhere by a justice of the peace.
Marriage isn't strictly a religious ceremony in the United States so any religious argument against it is null and void.
Civil Unions are progress, but they're not the same; they don't include all of the same rights, and that's really not okay.
In a free society with a secular government (as in the USA) a marriage is nothing more than a social contract between consenting adults. As such, this contract must be allowable between any such adults. For the State to disallow this contractual relationship based on protected categories of gender, is nothing more than discrimination.
The religious concept of marriage and the State view must be separate, and have been since the beginning. Some religions allow forced marriages, or polygamy. The State does not. From a government perspective, ALL marriages are civil unions. We simply call it ';Marriage'; for cultural reasons.
So, keep 'marriage' in the churches, and let those churches do as they wish. Only government licensed Civil Unions are recognized by the State, and those must be allowed to all.
The do not, just paper marriage, not reunited by soul only a meer sheet of paper and gay love
Think for your children if you can鈥檛 think for yourself
Think your children being made fun of in school - its worse than worse racism comments, If you are 2 moms, your child will get made fun of, friends will tell him, of he made fantasies with his 2 moms
People will say ';eeew'; you won鈥檛 know what it鈥檚 like for your child when they have 2 gay parents, if they have a weak mind they might suicide, if they have a stronger mind, they might not suicide but rather resort to violence to the other kids
Some kids may even sneak to his house, take pictures of his 2 moms or dads, and paste his picture in the middle so it looks like 3 gay guys
or 2 moms and make fun of him
Legally, marriage should be between two adults, reguardless of their gender. Just making it between a man and a woman is unfair and treats gays like second class citizens. Either everyone can get married, or no one can, and it should be taken out of the laws altogether.
As far as the churches, it should be up to each individual church to decide whether or not to hold gay weddings. I'm gay and I wouldn't want to go to an anti-gay church anyway.
Column Notes - You obviously do care if you take the time to comment on getting thumbs down.
Phil L :- If that's all you are asking for, I think it would be easier to get people to agree to all those ';rights'; for anyone wanting a civil union. I think the problem that people have is not whether you want your partner to decide about ';pulling the plug'; on you but rather about the meaning and purpose behind marriage.
There should be a law that says if your religion doesn't support gay marriage then you are not required to perform it in your church (like we do in California), but us Gays should be able to call our relationship marriage legally and get all the benefits of it that straight people do.
in church: whatever the church decides. i would hope the catholic faith eventually will marry gays and hopefully me.
civil union: why? why should we accept less? that dosent make sense.. marriage has more benefits that civil unions dont.
Gay people should be given the same rights as any one else as they are citizens, they contribute to the economy, and some serve or have served in the armed forces. If they want to marry let them marry.
My opinion currently? Im sick of the word marriage. How about we kill the word marriage. We should make a totally different word, change the rules to it and have it so that any two human beings are able to get married.
Yes, that's the way the world works. It's not only about religion, even my really young sister could tell you why a man and a woman are supposed to be together.
Marriage should be between a man and a woman only. Sorry I don't mean to offend anyone but that's my belief and if you don't like it too bad. I don't care what you think.
Marriage isn't about faith. Marriage is about two people who love each other.
Well, we don麓t need a catholic ceremony to get married.
There are many other ways to do that.
I think that they should get married anywhere they like but im just one person. It should be between 2 people who truly love eachother.
You're asking this question under the wrong category..
People on here are mostly going to be pro gay marriage.
But yeah, I think we should be able to marry who we want, where we want.
If it was such an abomination to be held in a church, such blasphemy would cause God to strike them down dead.
Yet it hasn't happened.
Marriage is between a man and woman only whether it is in the church or in front of a judge.
marriage should only be between a man and a woman
in church no, civil union yes,
Are you seriously asking this in this section?
Why do people keep asking this **** in this section.
Get a grip, you know how we feel.
No.

No.
Is there a way to have a happy marriage if my wife is bi polar?
my wife is bi polar and we been married 2yrs , i don't know what to do to keep her happy all the times. there is always something wrong and am always trying to make her happy. Is there a way to have a happy marriage if my wife is bi polar?
You cant ';make'; someone that is bipolar happy. It has nothing to do with you, so don't take it upon yourself to be her cure, you will drive yourself crazy. The best thing to do is make sure she is going to her doctor and is properly medicated to cut down on the mood swings. Also remember not to take things personally, be supportive of her, this includes her illness. Is there a way to have a happy marriage if my wife is bi polar?
I suppose if the proper treatment plan is figured out and it's not always so easy to get the right combination of meds. My late husband was severe bi polar and VERY difficult to deal with on a daily basis. He refused to take his meds as directed %26amp; frequently would not see his therapist. He eventually commit suicide with his prescription meds.

living with bi polar can be extremely hard at time..making sure she is on her mediation and doing therapy..support group..connecting with professionals
get her on some meds to regulate her mood(s).
